OM AND DUCATI CORSE: AN UNDERSTANDING THAT WORKS
Agreement between OM and Ducati Corse renewed for 2007 through RTR
OM, a leading manufacturer of forklift trucks and internal goods handling and transport systems, is once again official sponsor of the Ducati Corse team in 2007.
The deal, clinched thanks to the consulting services of RTR Sports Marketing, a premier agency in the field of sports marketing, has been renewed for the third year in a row, and is proof of the excellent understanding that has joined the two companies until now.
In its role as official sponsor, OM once again flanks the Ducati Corse team, competing in the Superbike and MotoGp World Championships. In the Superbike Championship 2007 which commenced recently, the company’s logo features on the bikes, racesuits and clothing of the Ducati Xerox Team, already world champions in 2006.
After Troy Bayliss’s first place in the Riders’ World Championship, Ducati rounded off the Superbike Championship of 2006 on a high note by taking the Constructors’ Championship on the Magny-Cours circuit in France. It was the fourteenth Superbike title in the Constructors’ Championship for the legendary bike manufacturer of Borgo Panigale, while for OM it promised a 2007 full of reasons to be satisfied.
Benefits for OM include the chance to utilize Ducati Corse’s name, reputation and image for its own communications activities, along with the opportunity to use the teams’ hospitality areas in both Superbike and MotoGp and to organise meetings in the prestigious setting of the Ducati Museum.
In the words of Riccardo Tafà, managing director of RTR: “The renewal of this agreement for the third year running is a source of great satisfaction for us, as it shows that the association between OM and Ducati Corse is now consolidated, having proven itself to be a winning choice for both partners.”
